Tour Itinerary :
Day 1 Jakarta Hotel – Muara Angke & Jakarta Bay Birding – Cibodas (L&D)
You will be picked up at Hotel Jakarta around 5 am, then we drive to Muara Angke Nature Reserve and wildlife sanctuary is a protected nature conservation area at Kapuk Muara. Muara Angke Wildlife Sanctuary was protected since the colonial rule of the Dutch Indies on June 17, 1939, covering an area of 15.04 ha. During the 1960s, the conservation area was expanded to 1,344.62 hectares. Later, because of human pressure and environmental destruction within and around the national park, some of the mangrove forest area were destroyed. Arrival at Muara Angke, then boat trip around Muara Angke and Jakarta Bay where we will look for Sunda Teal, Grey heron, Black crowned night heron, Javan pond heron, Purpel heron, Bar-winged prinia, Yellow bellied prinia, Golden bellied gerygone, Javan munia, Scaly breasted munia, White headed munia, Pink-necked green pigeon, Grey-cheeked green pigeon, Sunda pygmy woodpecker, Common flameback, Freckle breasted woodpecker, Racket tailed treepie, Red breasted parakeet, Small minivet, Pied triller, Cerulean kingfisher, Collared kingfisher, Spotted dove, Sunda collared dove, and also we expect to see Milky stork and Javan Coucal. Then we continue for the boat trip to Jakarta Bay to look for Christmas Island Frigatebird, Little black cormorant and also another some shore birds species. Then at 1 or 2 PM, we cruise back to Muara Angke where we will continue to drive to Cibodas, arrival at Cibodas, check in ( Hotel / Guest House ). If we still have time, we will do afternoon birding around Cibodas to look for White-crowned forktail, Sunda forktail, Sunda thrush, and also night birding is potential to look for Salvadori’s nightjar, Javan frogmouth, Buffy fish owl, and also Brown wood owl. Dinner will be served at the local restaurant.
Day 2 Gunung Gede Birding Full Day Tour (B,L,D)
After early breakfast at Hotel /the Guest House, we drive to the gate of Gunung Gede, and we start for birding and we expect to see the key species , such as : White-bibbed babbler, Crescent-chested babbler, Javan Blue robin, Rufous tailed fantail, Javan tesia, javan spoted castrel, Chesnut-Fronted shrike babbler, White Browed shrike babbler, Javan Hawk eagle, Flame fronted barbet, Orange spotted bulbul, Javan grey-throated white eyes, Blue whistling trush, little spider-hunter, long-billed spider hunter, Tawny breasted parotpinch, Javan Shortwing, Javan Whistling Trush, Rufous fronted Laughingtrush, Javan Banded Broadbill, Indigo Flycather, Snowy browed flycatcher, Blue nuthatch, Brown-throated barbet, maybe Sunda forktail. Afternoon late we go back to Hotel/Guest house.
Day 3 Cibodas Birding Tour – Drop off to Jakarta Hotel/Airport (B,L,)
After early breakfast at Hotel /the Guest House, we drive to Cibodas where we will bird around botanical garden and we hope to see Pygmy Cupwing, Lesser Shortwing, Flame-fronted Barbet and Crescent-chested Babbler , Sunda forktail, White-crowned forktail, Blood-breasted (Javan) Flowerpecker, Flame-fronted Barbet, Javan Fulvetta and White-flanked Sunbird, Yellow-throated Hanging Parrot , Pygmy Bushtit, Javan Kingfisher, Rusty-breasted Cuckoo , Black-winged Flycatcher-shrike, Little pied flycatcher, and maybe Javan Munia. Lunch will be served at the local restaurant, and after lunch we drive back to Jakarta hotel or to Jakarta international airport. End of the trip.

You will be picked up at Hotel Jakarta around 4 am, then we drive to Cibodas by a private car which takes around 3 hours approximately if there is no traffic jam, arrival at Cibodas, breakfast and coffee break will be served at the local restaurant. And after that, we drive back to hotel or Guest House.
D3 Gunung Gede & Cibodas – Jakarta Hotel (B,L)
After early breakfast at hotel or at the guest house, we will look for some key birds which missed at Gunung Gede or at Cibodas. Lunch will be served at the local restaurant, and after lunch, we drive back to Jakarta hotel. End of the trip.
